As a former botanist and working as a homeopath over 20 years, Dr. Michal Yakir has developed ‘The Plants Table – the systematics of the plant kingdom in Homeopathy’. This System is a very fascinating and well-advanced practical system in daily homeopathic praxis with magnificent outcome.

The Table of plants is a system that endeavors to reconstruct homeopathic knowledge of plant remedies in an organized fashion based on a broader, systematic understanding of order and classification already used in the botanical field.

Just as the order of the Periodic Table and the location of every element in the table carries homeopathic significance, so too does the order in the plant kingdom. It provides a botanical, systematic order sorted and categorized by Species, Families and Orders and so on.

Yakir uses this hierarchic order according to botanic analysis, to construct a table: a two-way grid where each axis describes a progressive development that is mirrored in the plant kingdom as well as in the corresponding remedies. The first axis denotes the botanic evolutionary progress. The second axis denotes a process of human development stages - physiological, emotional, mental and individuation - from birth to old age: from unity to individuality.

DR. MICHAL YAKIR (PhD, RCHom)

Based on her experience as a former botanist, working as a homeopath over
20 years, Clinical observation, modern homeopathic concepts and proving’s
she integrated and developed the order of the plant kingdom in Homeopathy
which describes the relationship of plant evolution and morphology to human
development and pathology.
She specializes in Women's health problems and teaches homeopathy at
Campus Broshim Homeopathy School in Tel Aviv. After receiving her BA in
Botany, Master's degree in Biology and Ecology, she conducted a PhD research in
Homeopathy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Faculty of Medicine.
