Content of the Seminar in short:
It has been more than one decade, since Rajan Sankaran has been to Switzerland last. Meanwhile a lot has happened, as those who have followed Sensation-Homoeopathy are aware of. In the last years, the concept of Sensation has been proved to be reliable and successful in many cases, whereas it is not suitable for every patient. Rajan himself never left the basics in homoeopathy, and his knowledge is deeply rooted in solid traditional homoeopathy, which he is familiar with since childhood. His foundation in Homoeopathy (having studied the work of Hahnemann and the Organon, sitting with Phatak, reading Boericke, Kent, Guernsey and many more), the use of the Repertory, the Genius of a remedy and the idea of Generalisation (Boger-Boenninghausen), keynotes, exact modalities and peculiar symptoms were always part of his work, although the emphasize in teaching lay on explaining the Systematic Approach of Vital-Sensation-Method.
The idea of Synergy in Homoeopathy developed in his practice throughout the last years, and is now refined to a point, where it can be called
a UNIQUE INTEGRATED APPROACH
Synergy in Homoeopathy means the INTEGRATION OF TRADITIONAL METHODS AND MODERN CONCEPTS - the coming together of old and new - which in its entireness resolves to be more than the sum of it parts. In fact, this integration means more than the flexibility to choose the one approach which is most useful in a case or to combine certain aspects of each method; the different viewpoints empower each other like a tandem and when seen like parallel tracks, which come to the same goal, give way to a new level of certainty in the prescription and consistency in results.
Rajan shows, that open-mindedness in case-taking - to perceive the different expressions of a state in a patient freely while being able to use most of them without neglecting those who doesn‘t fit into one system of analysis - in combination with a clear orientation results in a deep and definite understanding and makes the work of an homoeopath more simple.
